oobe strikes gold as a Microsoft Certified Cloud Partner
oobe’s ongoing customer growth and sustainability in Microsoft Azure solutions was recognised favourably this week as the business achieved Gold competency status as a Microsoft Certified Cloud Partner.
oobe’s success in providing highly scalable, cloud-based solutions has been underpinned by its partnerships with both Microsoft and Citrix. Delivering thousands of Windows desktops from the cloud for federal government, and providing a highly secure, hosted web browser service designed to keep the internet outside of sensitive environments, brought together two of oobe's key strengths - cloud and security..
Following a recent announcement that oobe had been included as an exclusive launch partner for Azure’s two new ‘Australia Central’ regions, and as a dedicated member of the Microsoft Partner Program for over 10 years at both a Gold and Silver tiers, Mr Stephen Tys - CTO oobe PL, said oobe’s push into the cloud makes its ongoing commitment to Microsoft clear.
“There is an ever-increasing demand for solutions built in the cloud across our entire portfolio of customers, and Azure was always going to be the best fit given their existing investments with Microsoft. Being part of an elite tier of Microsoft partners allows us to provide our customers with agile, cloud-based solutions that support their ongoing digital transformation”, said Mr Tys.
In achieving Gold cloud certification, oobe had to demonstrate proven performance and growth in its cloud offerings powered by Microsoft Azure, in addition to undertaking technical assessments and providing customer references.
Managing Director of oobe, Mr Stuart Kilduff, said “Achieving Gold Cloud Certification came shortly after we announced our latest service offering, Perimeta for Azure, which allows government and highly regulated industry businesses to seamlessly and securely extend their on premises environments directly into Microsoft’s hyperscale cloud”.
He continued "This certification, and the service offerings we’re taking to market, signify the growth and direction of our company and confidence in Microsoft as a partner. As a company, we're still all about apps and data, but in today's world, that means much more than it did 10 years ago which is why we're investing in security, analytics and automation-based solutions. Azure gives us a proven platform to build these solutions, and our Gold certification only enhances the confidence customers already have in us as a solution provider.”
